Green Tree Harlowe – No Bod Platinum: Complex Root Combo vs Bloomreaper | UVH 6 TM

After getting Platinum in UVHM 6 True Mode, I started testing other guns and build variants. In this run, I managed to get another Platinum using Complex Root as my main weapon, with Spread Launchers to wipe out the crystals and Darkbeast for the flying Vile Ordonites during the crystal phase—without relying on the OP Ceramic Bod.

Against Bloomreaper, here comes the slightly annoying part. I have to open my inventory to swap to my Complex Root and gear with Atlas firmware. But anyway, Bloomreaper has immunity phases, so I have the right to have my own “inventory phase” lol.

To make each phase more effective, I ran a 3x Airstrike firmware during the crystal phase to boost splash and multi-target damage. With the Atlas license paired with Atlas Infinitum, all Complex Root projectiles reliably hit Bloomreaper. Once I saw the crit damage stacking up, I had a strong feeling this was going to be a Platinum run—and it was.

Honestly, this run felt even more satisfying than my Platinum with the Ceramic Bod in UVHM 6 True Mode (see    • Green Tree Harlowe – Bloomreaper Platinum ...  ).

Airstrike
Tier 1: Splash Radius is increased by 20%
Tier 2: Splash Damage is increased by 20%
Tier 3: On kill, drop a missile strike on nearby enemies

Atlas Infinitum
Tier 1: Gun Fire Rate is increased by 12% while an Atlas Target Lock is active
Tier 2: Guns with Atlas-licensed parts gain 15% Damage
Tier 3: Atlas Target Locks are infinite, unless you swap Guns

Incendiary/Corrosive Darkbeast
Physicist with Shotgun Damage, Gun Critical Hit Chance, Gun Damage
Jakobs enhancement with Bounce Pass (extra ricochets), Gun Damage, Shotgun Splash Damage, Shotgun Critical Damage
Super Soldier with Siphon (5% chance for Overshield) and Capacity (50% Shield Capacity)
Waterfall with Radiation Globules
Purple Repkit with 25% Splash Damage and 30% Enrage

Gear for Bloomreaper Phase:
Incendiary Complex Root with Atlas license
Assistant with Sniper Rifle Damage, Fire Rate, Damage Dealt
Atlas enhancement with Trauma Bond (30% Damage while Target Lock is active), Gun Damage, Sniper Rifle Damage, Gun Splash Damage
Super Soldier with Siphon (5% chance for Overshield) and Capacity (50% Shield Capacity)
Waterfall with Radiation Globules
Purple Repkit with 25% Splash Damage and 30% Enrage
