79वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस के अवसर पर बीजापुर जिले के नक्सल प्रभावित और अंदरूनी इलाकों में स्थापित नवीन सुरक्षा बल कैंपों और थानों में ध्वजारोहण व तिरंगा यात्रा का आयोजन किया गया। कोण्डापल्ली, वाटेवागु, जिडपल्ली-1, जिडपल्ली-2, काउरगट्टा, कोरचोली, पीड़िया, पुजारीकांकेर, गुंजेपर्ती, गोरना, भीमाराम और गुटुमपल्ली जैसे नए कैम्पों में ग्रामीण, स्कूली बच्चे और सुरक्षा बलों ने मिलकर तिरंगा फहराया। नक्सल दहशत के बीच भी बच्चों और ग्रामीणों ने “भारत माता की जय” और “वंदे मातरम्” के नारों से वातावरण गूंजा दिया। 15 अगस्त 2024 के बाद जिले में 12 नए सुरक्षा कैंप स्थापित हुए, जिनसे सड़क, बिजली, पानी, संचार, शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं में बड़ा सुधार आया है। कार्यक्रम के अंत में मिष्ठान वितरण और सामूहिक भोज के जरिए राष्ट्रीय पर्व का उल्लास सभी ने साझा किया।

On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, flag hoisting and a tricolor rally were organized in newly established security camps and police stations located in the interior and Maoist-affected areas of Bijapur district. In camps like Kondapalli, Watevagu, Jidpalli-1, Jidpalli-2, Kaurgatta, Korcholi, Pedia, Pujarikanker, Gunjeparti, Gorna, Bhimaram, and Gutumpalli, villagers, school children, and security forces jointly hoisted the national flag. Despite the shadow of Maoist fear, locals and children raised slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram,” filling the air with patriotism. Since August 15, 2024, twelve new security camps have been set up in the district, significantly improving roads, electricity, water, communication, education, and healthcare facilities. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets and a community feast, spreading the joy of the national festival.
