New 2025 Lexus TX 500h - Premium Grade SUV | Interior | Drive
The Lexus TX continues to set the standard for transporting up to seven passengers in style, blending comfort, dynamic performance, and cutting-edge technology. For the 2025 model year, Lexus introduces subtle yet impactful updates to its TX lineup, enhancing its hallmark luxury, utility, and sophistication.
A notable addition to the 2025 TX lineup is the F SPORT Handling grade, exclusive to the TX 350 AWD. This trim is equipped with a suite of premium features, including Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), Intuitive Parking Assist with Automatic Braking, a Panorama Glass Roof, power-folding third-row seats, and ventilated front seats. The exterior boasts distinctive styling with a unique front fascia, rear valance, black roof rails, dark chrome window trim, black side mirrors, and exclusive 22-inch Matte Black wheels. Inside, sporty F SPORT accents elevate the cabin’s aesthetics, featuring a heated leather-trimmed steering wheel, aluminum pedals and scuff plates, and second-row captain’s chairs for added comfort.
With the F SPORT Handling grade, the 2025 TX now offers seven trim levels, catering to diverse preferences: Standard, Premium, Luxury, F SPORT Handling, F SPORT Performance Premium, and F SPORT Performance Luxury.
Built on the GA-K platform—shared with the RX and NX—the TX delivers agile handling, exceptional ride comfort, and a whisper-quiet cabin. This platform ensures optimal weight distribution and minimizes noise and vibration, creating a smooth and refined driving experience. Precise suspension dynamics, straight-line stability, and responsive steering embody the brand's Lexus Driving Signature (LDS), a philosophy that merges luxury and performance for an engaging drive. The TX’s LDS ensures linear, predictable responses, aligning seamlessly with the driver’s intentions.
To enhance rigidity without adding excess weight, Lexus applied advanced construction techniques such as strategically placed body adhesives, short-pitch spot welding, and a new rear multi-link suspension design. Lightweight materials, including aluminum for the hood and front fenders and steel for the rear door, contribute to optimized weight distribution for improved stability and control.
The 2025 TX offers three powertrain choices to suit different lifestyles and driving needs:
1. TX 350: A 2.4L turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine.
2. TX 500h: A 2.4L turbocharged hybrid for enhanced efficiency.
3. TX 550h+: A 3.5L V6 plug-in hybrid offering advanced electrification.
All powertrains deliver robust towing capabilities of up to 5,000 pounds, ensuring the TX is as ready for adventure as it is for daily commutes. The hybrid options, especially the TX 500h and TX 550h+, further Lexus’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions and achieving a carbon-neutral future. With these additions, Lexus now offers 10 electrified vehicles across its lineup, including hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and a battery electric vehicle.
Inside, the TX’s serene cabin prioritizes passenger comfort and convenience. A standard 12.3-inch multi-information display provides easy access to essential controls and data, keeping the driver focused and confident. Every seat in the TX has been meticulously designed for comfort, accessibility, and excellent support—even during long drives.
Second-row seating comes in two configurations depending on the grade: captain’s chairs or a 60:40 split-folding bench. Models with captain’s chairs include standard heating and ventilation, while access to the third row is simplified with a slide-assist walk-in mechanism. By pressing a switch on the seat shoulder, the seat tilts and slides forward, allowing for seamless entry to the rear.
Luxurious materials elevate the interior, with NuLuxe synthetic leather standard on most trims, while semi-aniline leather is offered on higher grades for a premium touch. Whether you're in the driver’s seat, the middle row, or the back, the TX delivers a first-class experience.
