The parents of an Israeli soldier being held hostage by Hamas have told Sky News they still have hope he'll be freed, but fear he could be the last to escape.

Nimrod Cohen was kidnapped during the October 7th attacks in 2023. His family has been speaking to Sky's Lisa Holland, after talks about a ceasefire faltered.

U.S. President Donald Trump has said Hamas 'didn't really want to make a deal' on a new Gaza ceasefire and hostage release, after the US and Israel withdrew their negotiating teams from Qatar.
