The Tennison Gambit, named after Otto Mandrup Tennison, is a chess opening in which White gambits a pawn. The ECO code is A06, and the opening moves begin with either the Zukertort Opening: 1. Nf3 d5 2. e4 or the Scandinavian Defense: 1. e4 d5 2. Nf3.
It is such an under-appreciated gambit, yet it is strong enough to defeat even some advanced chess players, particularly in Blitz and Rapid chess.
