If you’re looking to keep your kids busy on a snow day, rainy day, or just on a day where you’re just at home hanging out; here are two fun, cheap, and easy DIY’s you can do with your kids. This would also be a great Valentines Treat for your girls as well.

My daughter loves doing DIY spa days for her dolls and loves pretending to do her hair and makeup in her princess vanity that we bought her a couple christmas’ who. So, I knew she would love a DIY Kids Spa Day at Home. She loves being treated like a princess. In this video, I give you a few examples of what I do to set the mood for her. I have a 6 year old and soon to be 3 year old and they both love this spa day! I guarantee your little girls will love this fun spa day! You can make it as special as you want and just use this as a guideline. I didn’t have to buy anything extra because I just used things I already had at home.

The second activity is a DIY Valentine’s Day playdough. It’s pink , glittery, and super soft. I think it’s safe to say that kids of all ages love playdough. For this at home diy playdough, I also used things I already had in the pantry. It took us a little trial and error to get the playdough recipe right. But best of all, it is Non toxic. Now if I were you, I wouldn’t because it’s not tasty....but at least you don’t have to worry about your kids putting this in their mouth. This makes a ton of playdough as you will see in the video. When you store it, just be sure to put it in an airtight container. If it dries any, just add a little water overnight and flip the container over.

Soft Playdough Recipe
-Start with 2.5 Cups of Flour, sprinkle more in as needed
-2 tbsp Cream of tar tar
-1.5 Cups of Water
-1 Cup of Salt
-3 tbsp of any Oil
