During this time, the region receives a lot of rain, which makes the surroundings incredibly green and picturesque. You will see misty forests, sparkling waterfalls, and foggy valleys, creating a magical atmosphere.

One of the trek’s highlights is crossing water streams along the way. These streams provide a refreshing break and add to the adventure of the trek. You must carefully step on rocks and balance yourself while crossing them.

While trekking, you will also encounter various plants, colourful birds, and sometimes even wildlife. There are beautiful viewpoints where you can take a break and enjoy the mind-blowing views of the valleys and mountains.

If you are travelling from Mumbai:
Personal Vehicle: You can drive on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and take the Tamhini Ghat Road towards Pimpri village, the trek’s starting point. It takes approximately 3-4 hours to reach Pimpri village from Mumbai, depending on traffic conditions.
Local Trains: Take a local train from Mumbai to Lonavala, which is well-connected by train. From Lonavala, hire a taxi or take a local bus to Pimpri village.
Bus: Multiple state-run and private buses operate from Mumbai to Pune. Once you reach Pune, you can take a local bus or taxi to Pimpri village.

If you are travelling from Pune:
Personal Vehicle: Drive on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway and take the Tamhini Ghat Road towards Pimpri village. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
Local Trains: Take a local train from Pune to Lonavala and then follow the same directions as mentioned above for Mumbai.
Bus: Several buses run from Pune to Tamhini/Pimpri village. You can board a bus to reach the starting point of the trek.
