Freeze Your Brain | Heathers: the Musical | ITS Regionals Competition Piece | River W. Durham

Hello everyone! I got a recording of my performance at this year’s International Thespian Society Regional Competition, and figured it would be perfect for this channel! In the video I’m singing Freeze Your Brain from Heathers: the Musical, written by Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy.

For those wondering, I did get my results already, I got a superior from each judge, giving me an overall superior, meaning that I get to go on to the next level, being states. For anyone unfamiliar, the grading rubric is as follows (in descending order): Superior, Excellent, Good, Fair. To pass, performers needed an excellent or superior.

I’m very proud of my performance, though it still needs some tweaking and slight refinement. My voice was also somewhat shot that day, so I’m even more proud because of that!
