Japan’s star Pro Pool player Naoyuki Ōi ‘What’s in the Bag?’

Karl Boyes and Pool Life are excited to bring you ‘what’s in the bag’ with the Japanese superstar Naiyuki Oi. Known as the funny man of the Matchroom Pool World Nineball Tour, we see what’s inside the cue case.

Having won numerous National titles in his native Japan and many other titles worldwide. Oi made it to the 2012 World Nineball Championship. Ōi had victories against Chang Jung-lin, Thorsten Hohmann, and me Karl Boyes to reach the semifinals before losing to eventual champion Darren Appleton, who defeated him 7–11.

Oi has represented Japan in the World Cup of Pool on 6 Occasions, twice reaching the semi-finals.
