I've covered the West coast of Barra and the Isle of Vatersay in this video, enjoying a boat ride out to the famous Kisimul Castle and a walk through the history of the Island and the Castle by Historic Scotland, what a fabulous set up this will be in 2026 when the Castle opens to the public.
Next time I'll be hiring a bike, seeing the main town of Castlebay and cycling round the east side to capture a different landscape and see the Lost Village in Balnabodach. No idea when that'll happen, weather and ferry dependant, but if you subscribe (ha) then you'll get notified, yey!!!
