Ultimate Vs Proximate Explanations: Differences Explained! Evolutionary Biology, Biological Anthro

What is the difference between proximate and ultimate explanation? Is it the same as proximate and ultimate causation? In this video, I will be defining, explaining, and sharing examples of these two ideas that can be found in both evolutionary biology and biological anthropology. As an anthropology major and biology minor at UCLA, these frameworks come up repeatedly and I am excited to explain them with all of you. As always, leave your questions for me down below!
