Today's review is on Crucible, a game that tries to compete in three of the biggest moneymaking genres in the business right now...and probably should've tried to just focus on one. Crucible has some fun ideas and shows promise, but its various game modes all feel compromised in one way or another to allow the others to function, some of its biggest intended mechanical twists never materialized once in the entire five hours I played, and it's plagued by so many bugs that even I lost my patience with it. Crucible does have its bright points, but it is a remarkably rough and average title competing against some of the biggest, most polished and entertaining juggernauts in the industry today.
