How to Build Guitar Cabinets pt 2

Описание к видео How to Build Guitar Cabinets pt 2

Part 2 of our multi-part series featuring our DIY guitar speaker cabinet build. In this episode, we cover all the CNC and woodworking parts of the build. By the end of this episode, we'll have our shells complete, and we'll be ready to finish the build with detailing (tolex and trim), loading and wiring.

This series will present the general steps in designing and scratch building a 2x12 open/closed back cabinet and a 2x12-1x15 cabinet - from concept, all the way to testing. 3D modeling, CNC cutting, woodworking, tolexing, detailing, wiring, testing and a final shoot-out with a pair of Marshall JCM800 Lead 1960 cabinets. It's all here, in one action-packed series with bite-sized episodes!

While we heavily feature the use of our Shapeoko XXL CNC machine in our build, it's not 100% necessary. All the parts in this build are very easy to fabricate by hand, by anyone with a moderate amount of woodworking skill.

Thanks to old friends Electric Magma for donating some of their tracks used throughout this series. You can find them on Spotify and grab swag and vinyl at http://www.electricmagma.com
