Dr. Alex Johnson | Orthopaedic Surgeon

Alex Johnson, M.D., is an orthopaedic surgeon and fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist seeing patients in the Washington, D.C., area. He specializes in treating patients with conditions of the knee, shoulder, elbow and hip. He is passionate about helping athletes and active people of any age or level return to the sports and activities they love.
His clinical interests include ACL reconstruction, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, shoulder stabilization, elbow arthroscopy, ulnar collateral ligament (Tommy John) surgery, treatment of hip labral tears and femoroacetabular impingment (FAI), endoscopic hamstring repair, endoscopic gluteus medius repair and cartilage restoration.
