FL Flex synth is a "player"-style synth. You just select a sound and then you can modify some of its parameters, but not so "deep" parameters.
You can choose randomly from the factory sounds,
BUT also can choose from the free online presets
OR buy something from the integrated store.
As far as I know this store is not so sophisticated as the one in Arturia Pigments - here you can't preview commercial presets. You have to buy them, then you can play them.
Of course they show you a youtube link, so you can preview the preset sounds there, and then decide about buying.
