जम्मू कश्मीर में बढ़ रही आतंकी गतिविधियों के चलते जिला कठुआ में भी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था कड़ी. आतंकी गतिविधियों को रोकने और आम लोगो की सुरक्षा को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए बसहोली अटल सेतु पुल पर भी चौकसी बढ़ा दी गई,देर रात भी पंजाब की और से आने जाने वाले बाहनों की गहन जांच की जा रही है ताकि दहशतगर्द किसी तरह का खलल न डाल सके।

Due to increasing terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir, security has been tightened in Kathua district. To prevent terrorist activities and ensure the safety of common people, vigilance has been increased on the Basohli Atal Setu bridge. Even late at night, vehicles coming from Punjab are being thoroughly checked so that terrorists cannot cause any disturbance.
