Checkers traps aplenty in the Cross opening (9-14 exchange variation)

The 9-14 exchange variation of the Cross opening is filled with many deceptive traps. I talk through two major variations in this line of play, and uncover a number of tactical elements. Some of the traps are so well hidden that they can catch even well-posted players off guard.
