Yorkshire MESMAC is one of the oldest and largest sexual health organisations in the country. Last year they entered Bradford City of Films competition for charities and arts organisations. Three organisations were chosen to receive a free promotional film produced and showcase on the Big Screen Bradford.
Yorkshire MESMAC work all over Yorkshire but with their Bradford office just minutes away from the City Park, their new film is a great opportunity to reach more people who may require their various services which is includes LGBTQ Youth groups, free HIV testing, social Support and counselling.
Yorkshire MESMAC CEO, Tom Doyle told us "We were very excited to win the Big Screen Bradford and Molineaux Productions competition as we knew it would be a great chance to connect with our communities through a different medium, and advertise the work that we do to a wider audience than we are currently able to. Stigma is also a thing that affects a lot of the communities we work with, and a promotional video is a great chance to help challenge people’s preconceptions and tackle the stigma head on."
