Hemorrhagic Stroke
Hemorrhagic stroke is a sudden rupture in a blood vessel in the brain that bleeds into the surrounding tissue.

This damages brains cells in two ways:
It stops normal blood flow in the brain, preventing cells from getting blood and oxygen.
The leaking blood increases pressure in the brain, compressing the tissue and cells.

Types
Intracranial Hemorrhage
This occurs when a blood vessel burst spilling blood directly to the brain.
Both the hemorrhage and lack of blood supply destroys brain tissue. 

Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
This occurs when a weak spot in a blood vessel wall bursts and leaks blood into the tight space between the brain and skull.
The high pressure bleeding results in serious damage to brain tissue. 

Causes
Sudden bleeding may result from:
Head injuries
Cerebral aneurysm
High blood pressure
Blood vessel abnormalities
Sickle cell anemia
Liver disease
Brain tumor
Drug abuse

Symptoms
The symptoms happen suddenly and may include 
Numbness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body
Confusion
Trouble speaking
Trouble seeing in one or both eyes
Loss of balance
Dizziness, loss of balance or coordination
Severe headache
Seizures

Treatment
Prompt treatment is vital to minimize brain damage and improve outcomes.
Treatment options may include
Surgical clipping
Endovascular Coiling
Stent-Assisted Coiling
Medicines to reduce swelling, prevent seizures and reduce pain
