BOAT Anchor Chain SETUP - Problems with Lewmar V700 Windlass

In this video we show you our BOAT Anchor Chain SETUP and the Problems with Lewmar V700 Windlass. Since we installed the new V700 we have been having problems with the windlass picking up the rope. We made sure we bought the correct Boat anchor chain and rope that our windlass would be compatible with. But every time we use the Lewmar windlass the rope part keeps getting tangled, but the chain part has no problems coming up and through the Lewmar V700 Windlass, so we added another 30' of anchor chain to make it a total of 45'. This way we would only use the chain portion of the anchor line to anchor the boat in our usual shallow areas and sandbars.
