The lightswitch-like throttle is one of the few complaints that I and other Speed Twin owners have about this bike. A cheap and clever solution from Ducati Spacers (https://www.ducatispacers.com) purports to eliminate throttle snatch in any motorcycle that uses this particular throttle unit. Installing mine took about ten minutes, after which I recorded my impressions of the newly-upgraded throttle.
