After rewatching the Dark Knight and thinking about whether Joker could be charged with his crimes, I started to doubt Batmans heroism when stopping the Joker. By using his sonar surveillance system, he invades the privacy of everyone in Gotham, therefore breaking America's fourth amendment. Further, this use is very similar to the way the US Government uses the Patriot Act and how they are able to watch over any American. In this video, I decide whether Batman is really a hero or a secret villain by discussing his actions of the surveillance system and the ideas of the Patriot Act.
