We were both impressed and surprised by the intense drama, harrowing survival, and remarkable resilience portrayed in this Juan Antonio Bayona-directed masterpiece.

The director was able to convey the devastating aftermath of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and share with us the family's incredible journey. "The Impossible" follows the Bennett family, played by Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor, and Tom Holland, as they endure the life-changing events of the tsunami while vacationing in Thailand. We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing performance these actors gave and were gripped since the very start of the film.
