Doing this can guarantee a true charged hit on a sleeping target. Touch the area that you want to attack, block and roll back twice. Roll forward and do a shoulder bash. From this start judging the distance you have from the monster (it's based on how clean the rolls were) and if you're too far away do another bash and finish it with the True charged slash.

PS. Everyone else stole this set-up. This isn't even the best and most accurate way to do a GS charge setup. There's most likely better way to check distances than this. Everyone who made videos of this without crediting the source is a thief.
