Are These Ski Slopes Really "Epic?" NatGeo's 100 Slopes of a Lifetime

My ski buddy gave me a book published by National Geographic that details their selection of the 100 ski slopes "of a lifetime" throughout the world. Four of the slopes were located at resorts I had already planned to visit this year: (1) Lake Run at Portillo, Chile, (2) Powder Bowl at Crystal Mountain, Washington, (3) Cirque Bowl at Mount Bachelor, Oregon, and (4) Gran Risa at Alta Badia in Dolomiti Superski, Italy.

The question for all of you is whether you think any or all of these slopes are rightfully on a list of "100 Slopes of a Lifetime."

This obviously isn't a sponsored video. My friend bought me the book and I decided to check out as many as I could. So critique away! My reactions are below.

Lake Run: Portillo, CHILE. NatGeo almost certainly chose this slope because of the view that you have when you ski or snowboard down. You descend straight toward the Laguna del Inca, a beautiful lake that reflects the jagged rock of the surrounding Andes mountains like a mirror. Breathtaking. But there is a downside. You need to take a traverse back to the resort at the end of the slope, which can be a bit of a trek, particularly for snowboarders.

Powder Bowl: Crystal Mountain, Washington, USA. This double black diamond slope likely made the list for what it's like to ski or snowboard when it has fresh powder. It's very steep, but short. I skied it when the snow was good, but it wasn't a powder day. It would be an incredible run with fresh, deep powder.

Cirque Bowl: Mount Bachelor, Oregon, USA. Do you want to ski or snowboard in a volcano crater? You can do that at Mount Bachelor, Oregon. To be honest, you would never know that Cirque Bowl is a volcano crater when you're in it. But the fact that it is makes it a unique experience. Is it worth being one of the 100 "slopes of a lifetime," though?

Gran Risa: Alta Badia, Dolomiti Superski, ITALY. This slope is a steep expert slope that is sometimes used for the World Cup. There are plenty of steep slopes all over the world. So what may make this one special is the fact that it is also used for races.
