👧My name is Kate and I am an early childhood trainer; university teacher and qualified early childhood teacher.
I am very passionate about Early Years from 0-8. I have a background in Early Childhood (Bachelor's and Master of Education), VET and Tertiary education (both face-to-face classroom teaching and online learning).
I have worked in the early childhood profession for over 15 years in various positions: as a nanny, playgroup coordinator, and storyteller at the local library, educator, kindergarten teacher, educational leader and
🎓I have Certificate 3, a Diploma, Bachelor's and Master's of Early Childhood Education, and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
💕I work as a relief ECT in different preschools and long daycare centres to keep current.
🎹I love playing the piano and ukulele; singing with children and pre-service teachers; write poetry and silly songs.
📚I am also a book nerd and read everything related to early childhood education and care.
