The 12 Hour Journey to Get LAST in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

This is the story of a challenge that I attempted in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe called "Mario Kart Lockout". In the challenge, you have 12 races to get all 12 possible places, with no duplicates allowed. While it seems easy on the surface, I can guarantee you that it's anything but. You'd think getting last would be easy, but..
