On April 13, 2022, Windows Insiders in the Dev and Beta Channels received Windows 11 build 22598. This is a build of Nickel, the 22H2 development semester which will likely release as version 22H2 (codenamed Sun Valley 2) in the 2nd half of this year.

As builds get smaller and smaller, the amount of features and changes decreases - build 22598 is no exception, with just a few. The most notable changes are with Windows Spotlight - which may soon be the default background for clean installs of Windows 11.
