In this video, I visit Shandur Top, one of the highest polo grounds in the world, located between Chitral and Gilgit. Known as the “Roof of the World,” Shandur stands at an altitude of about 12,000 feet, offering breathtaking mountain views and a peaceful blue lake beside it.

Every year, the famous Shandur Polo Festival is celebrated here in July, where teams from Chitral and Gilgit-Baltistan compete in thrilling traditional polo matches. The ground becomes alive with colors, music, and local culture — a true celebration of mountain life and hospitality.

In this video, I explore Shandur Lake, the historic polo ground, and capture the beauty, adventure, and traditions of this amazing place.
