CÉSAR FRANCK "Panis Angelicus" (for Brass Quintet)

Happy Mothers’ Day! Moms give endlessly to their children, and to honor them, we want to present a brand new setting for brass quintet of this beautiful piece by César Franck, his famous “Panis Angelicus” (translating to “Bread of Angels”). There really is something transcendent about this music. It is just so serene, and it is perfectly suited to the text. Sheet music for standard brass quintet and all substitutions is available here:

(This arrangement is especially flexible in that the solo line may be played by any of the five players in the ensemble.)
