Sad news the limping Monwana male was found dead. A true survivor who never gave up even with the hand he was dealt.

The Monwana males were born in early 2016, two brothers fathered by one of the biggest males around (Black Dam male). Both males were very aggressive from a young age and even in 2020 they are said to have killed their own father. They would take over the Giraffe pride in Timbavati and things would be good, the Monwana in the video got an injury but just a minor limp at first. One day in early 2021 the healthy Monwana male was found dead, only a small part of his face was left for him to be identified. Since this moment the Limping Monwana became a nomad and his injury worsened but he has never given up and has done well to survive to this day even on 3 legs. During this period he actually met up with his younger brother (Giraffe young male) and has formed a coalition with him. Unfortunately in recent times his condition worsened but he still pushed on. A real legend, survivor RIP Limping Monwana, you will not be forgotten.
