How To Make And Install A Wakeboard Tower - DIY Wake Pylon

In this video we show you how to make a wakeboard tower by yourself. If you follow the video closely we show you how to do it yourself step by step.

For the wake pylon we used the following parts:
- 2 poles wich fit perfectly inside eachother.
- A plate to install the pylon in the boat.
- Some reinforcements for the poles.
- A piece of metal with a connetion for a shackle.

Step 1:
Measure the height of the lower pole, make sure it fits under the cover!

Step 2:
Weld the lower pole to the lower plate, its recommended to also use some reinforcements.

Step 3:
Weld a strip with holes on the upper pole, the holes are for shackles with reinforcement ropes.

Step 4:
Fit the upper pole in the lower pole and widen the upper pole on the place where the poles don't get further inside eachother.

Step 5:
Make a round piece of metal with a hole inside, the hole is to fit it with a bolt on top of the pole.

Step 6:
Weld a strip of metal with a hole on the round piece, in the hole you can connect a shackle for the wakeboard rope.

Note: the floor of our boat is reinforced with 60mm waterproof plywood so we can bolt the wake pole to the floor.
