Saltwater Smart Tank -High Tech System!

210 Gallon Saltwater aquarium with sump, UV sterilizer, Algae scrubber, etc.



Entire system is connected to Alexa and Wifi, fully automated. I "talk" to the tank (Alexa) to do various things such as "Alexa- Main pump standby".....which puts the main pump into "Feed" mode putting it into standby for 15 minutes so food does not get sucked into the overflow box.

I am in the midst of setting up the automatic water change system below the tank in the basement which will also be controlled by Alexa- turning on a drain pipe pump to drain a certain percentage of water, followed by another pump to fill the tank back up from a saltwater mixing reservoir in the basement. Water lines run up through the wall and enter from behind the tank....filling the tank back up.


I enjoy projects....especially when it cuts down, or cuts out...maintenance!
