In May of 2000, former M-People lead singer Heather Small released the iconic single "Proud" that quickly solidified itself as the quintessential Pride Anthem of a new generation, as well as an inspirational theme for organizations and causes around the globe. The title track of her 'Proud' album has gone on to become the soundtrack to a whole host of very special events including London's successful 2012 Olympic bid, the 60th anniversary of VE Day in Trafalgar Square, the launch of Queen Mary 2, the Tsunami Relief Concert, England's victory at the Rugby World Cup celebrations, the official ceremony marking the handover of the Olympic Games from Beijing to London, as well as featured in groundbreaking television and motion pictures including Queer As Folk (USA) and Akeelah and the Bee. And when Oprah Winfrey was looking for a song, to sum up the work she'd been striving to achieve over her twenty-year career, she got in touch with Heather and made it the theme to the last 5 years of The Oprah Winfrey show.

As "Proud" approaches it's 20th Anniversary, Swishcraft Music could not be more excited to release "Proud" by Heather Small feat. Dirty Disco & Matt Consola in time for the world to celebrate World Pride NYC (2019) and Stonewall 50. With a new radio/pop version produced by American production team The Rip City Boys (Matt Consola & Aaron Altemose), eight additional club mixes will also be released remixed by Dirty Disco, Division 4 & Matt Consola, Joe Gauthreaux & Leanh, Testone, Wayne G & Porl Young, Michel Mizrahi, and the Rip City Boys' (Matt Consola & Aaron Altemose).
