In today’s class, we explain Criminal Force – Section 129 BNS and Assault – Section 130 BNS with meaning, examples, notes, and punishment.

🔹 Section 129 – Criminal Force (BNS 2023)

Meaning: When a person intentionally uses force on another without consent, to cause injury, fear, or annoyance.
Example:
A pushes B to make him fall → Criminal Force.




🔹 Section 130 – Assault (BNS 2023)

Meaning: An act that creates an apprehension (fear) of use of criminal force.
💡 No physical contact required.

Example:
A raises his fist to hit B but does not touch him → Assault.




📝 Notes (Explained Simply):
• If there is physical contact → Criminal Force.
• If there is only fear/threat → Assault.
• Both require intention + no consent.
