Iced tofu is basically keeping a few blocks of momen tofu in your freezer, defrost, squeeze out moisture, and then it acts like a massive sponge with any flavour you throw at it. Does that sound like another pantry staple tip? Although admittedly, I haven't been able to find organic types, so maybe don't eat it everyday just in case there is a GMO risk.

The big flavours come from the marinade and the herbs. Be creative and resourceful, before going to store, there might just a few bunches in your fridge waiting to be used.

And this is another new way of cooking with the abundant winter melon in the summer, it's accessible, cooling for summer heat, and it's super affordable.
