Ahead of the Golden Melody Festival happening in Taipei, we had the pleasure of chatting with two of their showcasing artists, ‪@PaigeSu‬ and ‪@L8ching‬ Both singer-songwriters are based in Taiwan, and in this edition of our artist on artist interview, they share their songwriting evolution, discuss their instrument of choice and their quest to bring their music to the global space.

Known for her intricate and original music featuring the electric harp, Paige Su 蘇珮卿 has been awarded Best Unique Single at the 6th Golden Indie Music Awards in Taiwan and nominated for Best New Artist at the 29th Golden Melody Awards.

L8ching 雷擎, started his musical career with the drums and has performed with numerous talented Taiwanese artists such as Leo Wang, Sunset Rollercoaster, and Come on! Baybay!. His poignant lyrics mix traditional Taiwanese with English, and his groovy and gloomy sound mixes R&B and electronic elements.
