For some reason, the intro to the 1985 Dire Straits song "Money For Nothing" is a super cool, swirling ambient soundscape that wouldn't seem out of place on a Pink Floyd album. After the intro, Dire Straits tacked on an over-produced dad-rock anthem with an entire verse that you'll never hear on the radio anymore because the f-bombs would make Eminem blush, although considering D-Straits is a British band, maybe that verse was just about cigarettes. Apparently Sting wrote and sang the intro, probably in between matches against Ric Flair.
