I’ve been thinking of making a guide like this for some time now, but finally found the motivation and time to write it. The purpose of this guide is to facilitate character creation for people who are brand new to the system. While the character creation rules from Player Core do an amazing job explaining how to build a character, I am still creating this guide in hopes of providing a concise version of the rules, additional insights into building an effective first character, and explanations for some common character-building confusions among new players.
