Amazon has officially greenlit a Life is Strange TV adaptation, nearly a decade after it was first announced. Charlie Covell, known for The End of the F**ing World* and Kaos, will serve as showrunner and executive producer. The series will adapt the original game, following Max, a photography student who discovers she can rewind time while saving her best friend Chloe. As they investigate a classmate’s disappearance, the pair uncover the dark secrets of their town while facing an impossible life-or-death choice. It’s still unclear how the show will handle the game’s branching choices and multiple endings.
