This song was written as a reminder of how important FLOW and MOTION is. Things move effortlessly and naturally. This is where all the power comes from. The music is a sound painting of the composer's interior. Dr. Marvin Smith is FLOW and MOTION. He is a volcano at one moment and a gentle wind in the next. "THE DANCE OF THE BU GA LU" is his dance not mine. I wrote this so everybody can enjoy the feeling that I feel every time I think about what a NATURAL FLOWING MOMENT TO MOMENT person he is. A true giver of the heart and a man of PEACE. The little more than three minutes that I've recorded is just the bottom of the piece of music since it is not a finished work. I played three bass violins on this, a drum kit and some percussion instruments. When it's finished, It will have a piano part, some horns and some strings, additional drums with timpani and tablas,congas, djembes , bells and vocals. It will be a finished symphony for my good friend of 42 years, THE MASTER, DR. MARVIN SMITH.

This is a work in progress. When it is finished it will have more than the drums,basses and percussion instruments that I used to make this bottom of The Symphony that I am writing for my long time friend, THE MASTER, DR. MARVIN SMITH. This will be a TRIBUTE To him, the one I call a genius and my friend for the past 42 years. I am in the process of writing his lifetime story and a full featured movie about his life.
