Can you train the same muscle everyday?

Yes.

📊 While resting 48-72 hours between lifts of the same muscle group may be optimal for bodybuilders maximizing muscle growth, that training frequency just won’t cut it for athletes.

Athletes need to train frequently to develop good technique, speed, and power.

🏋🏽‍♂️ You’re not going to become an elite Olympic lifter hitting legs 2x per week. You just can’t get enough reps in to build technique that way.

Does this mean you’re going to squat heavy everyday?

Bottom line: If you only learn from bodybuilders it can be difficult to make the best program design decisions for athletes.
