*NOTE: Torque is measured in Ft lbs. It's easiest to measure 12in, mark the extension where you choose and place the weight there. Every 4in is 1/3 of a ft. So in theory, 1/3 of 40lbs would be additional 10lbs for every 4in over 1ft. 15in means it would apply 50ft lbs instead of the 40lbs used.

TEKTON Torque wrenches have a small plastic rubber grommet located above the grip on the extension part, you pull it out and can adjust it with an allen key.

*Remember to always place the weight in the same spot on the handle grip each time preforming this adjustment. You can place a piece of tape on the handle and choose a location to mark for reference.
