Steve Van Doren of Vans, and Rob 'Sluggo' Boyce, Vancouverite and long-time skateboarder, both caught up with the Straight on Saturday (June 11) at the Van Doren Invitational 2015 skateboarding competition.

The finals on Saturday afternoon were interrupted briefly by the wet weather, but it didn't stop boarders from hitting the pool at Hastings Skatepark, where the top prize of $15,000 went to Alex Sorgente.
