ARCHIVE: Tornadoes touch down in Western New York (7/25/09)

Western New York was hit with a rare pair of tornadoes July 25, 2009, with an EF1 tornado in Corfu and an EF0 tornado in Hilton. Damage was more widespread in Corfu, while the tornado in Hilton notably shut down the final night of the village’s annual firemen’s carnival.
