"Bajuband Khul Khul Jaye" is one of the most famous and beautiful form of thumri sung typically in Raag Bhairavi.

This recording is from around 1980s. Only information regarding this recording is that this concert took place in Karnataka.

Names of accompanists are not known except Harmonium is by Purushottam Walawalkar.

This was one of Bhimsen Joshi's favourite thumri. He also sang this thumri at Durbar Hall, Laxmi Vilas Palace, Vadodara. There is also a video recording of him singing this thumri at Doordarshan Recording Studio, New Delhi.
