The Formula X should also be set to the High Speed tuning. I neglected to mention this though it was shown. The Formula X doesn't necessarily need it but you may as well have faster laps, it'll still handle and grip the corners just fine. It's much like using the Formula B, just much faster.

There are probably other good cars to use. The two in this demonstration are particularly good at handling the level and with the given setups can easily beat AI drivers even on Legendary difficulty with Very High AI. Other cars I've seen recommended are the 2020 Koenigsegg Jesko (GT Open) and the 2019 Dallara IR-18 Indie car. The Indie car I had a bit more trouble controlling, it requires more care to not spin out and the handling's a bit tight on those corners. The handling on the Jesko is tighter (maybe custom settings help?). Personally I prefer loose handling but others may prefer to give these vehicles a go, they certainly do the job.

Reasons to bother upgrading to the 2nd car include faster farming (hence less opportunity for the game to crash) and more XP bonuses as you'll do much more overtaking than in the first car I use.

Be aware that crashing can impede your gains as can using a loan car. Loan cars net you half the XP of bought cars. By all means though, if you're early-game and want access to those, even half-gains are pretty significant!

Played on PS4 Pro with SSD, standard controller. I only started this game very shortly before the upload date though the astute viewer can see my playtime on my profile page at the start of the video.

Feel free to set the laps beyond 30 (or below, 15 should be enough). The more laps, the better - sometimes. Just be aware that I've seen crashes typically in the lap 24-27 range, while driving the Formula B anyway.

You may want to try setting the number of AI down to 5-6. The moment I changed it to 5 I had a run where I had 1,539,316 XP in 15 laps!

Results greatly vary. On a good run I can have well over 300K XP after only 6 laps! On another run I might only have 200K XP after 30. Needless to say, even lower-end results are decent enough to make good progress.

One of 2 ways:

1) Simply "loan" the Formula X right off the bat!

2) How I did it: I used this video:    • Project CARS 3 - Beginners Money and XP Gu...   However I could not find the car he used in the showroom so I just made do with a Mercedes I upgraded (to C) from E class and toned the difficulty down to Very Hard so I could actually win. It did the job.

It seems to have something to do with staying in a perfect racing line for as long as possible and when you deviate you'll get the respective dump of XP. Maybe...

Yes, good testament to the cars' ability to do so at speed.

Actually this channel started with Mario Kart 8 back in the Miiverse video posting days. Also I worked in an arcade for a while so got very into Ridge Racer, particularly once that franchise made it to home consoles. That series has been inactive since 2016 (at the time of upload) so I got hold of GRID 2019 and this to try and fill that gap. Though this channel focuses on RPGs, Zelda and such, it is also about sharing any gaming tricks I find interesting. As it stands I've found a way to effectively level up and get rich, so here it is!
