Genesis - Looking For Someone (Hammond L-100 Cover)

Описание к видео Genesis - Looking For Someone (Hammond L-100 Cover)

This song is one of my favorite and one of the reasons why I bought a L100 Hammond.
There is so much drawbars and presets changing which make it impossible to play without an original L-100 Hammond.

When Ant left the band they never played this again, like most of Trespass songs.
As a consequence, the only good audio source for the live version is the Live at BBC (1970), and the only video footage we have is from the Atomic Sunrise Festival at the Roundhouse (1970) but without any sound, there is only a very small part currently avaible on the internet.

Back in 1970, Tony didn't have any Piano or Electric piano on stage, so the Piano part of Looking for someone was not played.
Even if Tony bought his MK2 Mellotron in 1971, he still used one in 1970.

A full cover of the keyboard parts played by Tony Banks on Looking For Someone as performed by Genesis during the 1970 Live At BBC.

Played with a late 60's original Hammond L-100 series organ (L162S) and Mellotron M400.

Both through Leslie speaker.

Other :

Due to the camera angle used, you can't see the mellotron at the end, but it's exactly the same chords as played on the Hammond.
