Which fictional or nonfictional characters who have gone through major life transformations do you personally draw strength from? For those in the chat, the same question applies to you if you're reading this aloud. I am looking for inspirational examples of people who have gone against the system, i.e., challenging the status quo by living by example. That last part is critical. I am looking for examples of people who have lived their message, not only advocated for change.

yes, like you said, the culture around this is "if you aren't pursuing the highest most out-of-reach thing" then you're a failure. Can you speak to having more respect for practicality?
