Hey guys! My name is Niah. I am 19 and am suffering from a painful and lifelong skin condition. I made this video to share my story with you and explain my condition (Aquagenic Pruritus, was originally diagnosed as Aquagenic Urticaria) - this means I am allergic to water (including my own sweat).

I wanted to make a video to clear up the questions and confusion I could see on the comments to another video made about me that was posted to YouTube by another user. The previous video was not made by me, so it was hard for me to clear things up when it wasn't my video.

I want to show people that you can have unfortunate things happen to you, but it is not always a negative experience. If you allow it to, it can make you stronger and more equipped to deal with whatever life throws at you.
